Metz Connect presents new Field-attachable single- and multimode fiber optic connector with Opto-Elast
The OpDAT FAST™ Hybrid connector is a field installable FO connector that offers constant and good optical transmission values thanks to its new hybrid technology.

The factory-polished ceramic ferrule guarantees good and stable connection parameters. The fiber to be terminated is connected via a mechanical splice in the connector. The new hybrid technology makes this connection particularly reliable and low-loss. All accessories required for connector assembly are included in the scope of delivery. This eliminates the need for further investment in special equipment and tools.

- the included cleaver provides an angled cut so high return loss values will be achieved. The cleaver is maintenance free and can be used up to 200 times.
