FIVES SUPPLIES CRYOMEC PUMPS FOR THE LOUISIANA CLEAN ENERGY COMPLEX
This major contract solidifies Fives’ position as a preeminent supplier of cryogenic equipment for the American market.
Fives, a global leader in cryogenic equipment design and manufacturing, won a significant contract to supply Cryomec® cryogenic pumps for an air-separation unit in the Clean Energy Complex in Darrow, Louisiana (USA).
This large complex, currently under construction, represents a major step forward in the production of clean hydrogen and will contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions in the industrial sector.
Fives Cryomec will provide:
- Nineteen Cryomec® LABS process pumps: engineered for exceptional efficiency and reliability for continuous application
- Six Cryomec® DGS truck loading pumps: designed for safe truck loading from storage tanks
- Two Cryomec® THOR reciprocating pumps: offering robust performance for high-pressure liquid nitrogen (LIN) application
The project stands as one of the largest blue hydrogen complex globally, aiming to produce more than 750 million standard cubic feet of blue hydrogen daily. This production capacity has the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions within the industrial sector, fostering a cleaner and more sustainable future.
