Synthetic filter medium reduces total cost of ownership and increases process reliability
MANN+HUMMEL presents the new air filters Aircube Pro Power S and Nanoclass Cube Pro Power S for gas turbines. The use of an innovative synthetic filter medium enables the filters to also meet the particularly demanding application requirements of oil platforms at sea.

The filters are robust, ensure a reliable process, reduce the total cost of ownership for turbine operators and help to protect investments against operational failure. The filters are available in different versions: with an installation depth of 300 mm or 420 mm as an XL Version, in the filter efficiency classes ePM1 80% acc. to ISO 16980 and E10 acc. to EN 1822.

Filter media made from microglass fibers represent the state of the art on the market. However, these are very sensitive to mechanical stress and water. In particular, under the extreme operating conditions found at sea they are very prone to failure. In comparison with the best alternatives on the market, the MANN+HUMMEL products with synthetic media achieve a high performance.

Independent institutes have verified the superior values for burst pressure, long-term resistance to saltwater and efficiency as well as significant improvements in the stability of the media compared to conventional technology.

The XL variant with its large dust holding capacity takes first position according to the ISO 16890 standard. The advantages for customers are a long filter service life, high energy efficiency and lower overall running costs with maximum operational reliability.
